Better Performance with Unity 6


Hey there, I ported this game into Unity 6 which was a bit of a process but does seem to have significantly improved performance, particularly in the browser.

I also performed a handful of other optimization tricks to improve performance, such as static batching, baked lighting, and targeted mesh compression, which together may boost framerates enough to make this a much more enjoyable experience now for players in the browser.

Additionally, I unified the networking solution so now desktop players can play along with browser-based players.

Finally, I modified the physics materials and collision parameters to make getting caught on the central kitchen island corner much less problematic, as this was players' most commonly reported frustration.
