Diplomacy has failed. Experience humanity's darkest moment in this Mutually-Assured-Destruction'm'up. All the nuclear powers of Earth duke it out in this Battle Royale to end them all. How long until your arsenal is in the air? What will become of your allies? Can you and your people survive to build a better world?
HOW TO PLAY
This game uses every letter of the keyboard. Each letter represents a nation. Hold SHIFT + (any letter) to fire on the ones with Capital Letters, or don't hold shift to fire on lower case letters. Blue cities are allies. Don't press your own letter.
WINNER OF OPEN JAM 2018
Voted 1st place under the theme "Spam to Win". Game concept, art design, assets, code, and debugging all performed in four days to fit within jam timeline. We decided to leave the game's development as it was when contest time was up to show what we were able to pull off, so this release does have a few bugs (like the victory screen sometimes popping up unexpectedly), but is 90% playable.

Install instructions
Downloadable files are zipped, no install required. The game takes a few seconds to boot, so please be patient.
Windows release is tested and stable, so I recommend downloading it for optimal performance. I have not tried exporting for HTML5,Mac OSX or Linux before, please let me know how it runs for you.
As far as I can tell, the game won't scale in HTML5, so your desktop resolution must be set to 1920x1080 to play in browser. Click the button in the lower right corner of the game for fullscreen. If you don't have a widescreen monitor or can't display at that resolution, I recommend downloading the executable files, which scales fine.

Very cute little game. Took a few tries to figure out, but the intro scene is impressive and I like that the game is harder to win the harder you try.
I lost on my first playthrough, restarted, and then everyone's missiles kinda just sailed over the cities, then I magically won. Hope this helps. Also I have to reduce my window zoom-in to 60% to fully fit the game on my screen, even in fullscreen mode.
is this open source ?
aw man i can't run this.NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
Are all the orange and pink letters my enemies? How come the victory message is different sometimes. Like sometimes I preside over a wasteland, sometimes my people will rebuild?
I think the ending depends on how many people are still alive in the end. There's a warning message in the top right corner - something about critical population?
Initially I killed myself instantly :) The next time I did nothing and I won :)
Pretty nice button mash game. The sounds are a bit too loud for me.
The only winning move is not to play... ^^
Agreed on the sound loudness!
