Hey there,

This is a Quality of Life patch for Pizza Boi following the conclusion of the Gamedev.tv 2023 Jam's rating period. Thanks to everyone who rated and left me advice to help improve this small game. I've taken your advice to heart and implemented a handful of changes that in aggregate, should make the experience smoother. I've balanced that against trying to keep the game's character basically the same as it was for the Jam submission as it proved to be a popular submission.

First, some results from the Jam:
Out of over 1,000 entries, it ranked in the top 25% for 6 out of 7 categories.
For Music, it placed #20 out of all entries.
For Aesthetics, it came in at #52.
Sound and Fun received #100 and #155, respectively.

On to the patch! Here's the list of changes:

• A rotating player arrow icon now helps clarify navigation on the minimap. Easily the most requested feature.
• The minimap now scales with Fullscreen mode appropriately
• Slightly larger, blue square icons on the minimap for pizza destinations
• Added a new music track for the introduction (produced by me!)
• You can now SKIP the Introduction by pressing SPACEBAR
• In the main game, you can Pause by pressing the "P" Key.
• 'Order Up' Timer is more forgiving, bumping back up to 30 seconds if you make it in time to the PizzaGate to pick up
• Collider fixes for some buildings
• Blue destination boxes now blink for better visibility
• Minor bug fixes and typo corrections
